1. Introduction
ParentReach is a Smart Payphone and controlled communication service designed to facilitate communication between students and their parents or authorised contacts.
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of parentreach.in, ParentReach Smart Payphone services, Smart Card services, recharge facilities, service packs, dashboards and associated services. By accessing or using ParentReach services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. ParentReach Service
ParentReach provides a controlled communication platform through Smart Payphone devices installed at participating schools, colleges, hostels, campuses and other institutions. Service availability may depend on account status, Smart Card validity, available balance, active service pack, device connectivity and telecommunications network availability.
3. User Registration and Information
Users may be required to provide student details, parent or guardian contact information, mobile numbers, institution information and Smart Card details. Users, parents, guardians and institutions are responsible for providing accurate and current information.
4. Smart Card Usage
A ParentReach Smart Card may be assigned to an authorised user and must be used only by the intended or authorised user. Lost, damaged or potentially misused cards should be reported promptly. Card replacement may be subject to applicable replacement charges.
5. Registered Contact Numbers
Calls through ParentReach may be restricted to registered or authorised contact numbers. Parents, guardians or authorised administrators are responsible for maintaining correct contact information.
6. Service Packs, Recharge and Balance
ParentReach services may operate using prepaid balance, recharge value, subscription plans or service packs. Applicable price, validity and benefits will be displayed on the ParentReach platform or communicated through an authorised institution or service channel. Users must review pack details before payment.
7. Payments
Online payments may be processed through Razorpay or another authorised payment service provider. ParentReach does not directly store complete card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN or internet banking passwords. A payment is considered successful only after successful payment confirmation is received and verified by the ParentReach system.
8. Failed or Pending Payments
If an amount is debited but payment is shown as failed or pending, users should check their ParentReach account or transaction status before making another payment. Users may contact support with the registered mobile number, transaction date, amount and payment reference.
9. Call and Network Availability
Call quality and service availability may be affected by mobile network coverage, operator availability, internet connectivity, power supply, device maintenance or third-party infrastructure. ParentReach does not guarantee uninterrupted telecommunications connectivity at all times.
10. Acceptable Use
ParentReach services must be used only for lawful and authorised communication. Users must not tamper with devices, duplicate or manipulate Smart Cards, bypass restrictions, gain unauthorised access, interfere with network operations or use the service for unlawful activities.
11. Service Suspension
ParentReach may temporarily suspend a service or account for maintenance, security investigation, payment disputes, suspected misuse, technical issues or legal and regulatory requirements.
12. Intellectual Property
The ParentReach name, logo, website, software, dashboard, device software, service design and associated content are owned by or licensed to ParentReach unless otherwise stated.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ParentReach shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from telecommunications network failure, internet failure, third-party service interruption, incorrect user information, unauthorised card use or circumstances beyond reasonable operational control.
14. Changes to the Service or Terms
ParentReach may modify its services, service packs, features or these Terms and Conditions. Updated Terms will be published on parentreach.in.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of India. Subject to applicable law and consumer rights, disputes relating to ParentReach shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
