ParentReach provides Smart Payphone devices at participating schools, colleges, hostels and campuses. Students use a registered Smart Card linked to authorised contact numbers. The platform validates the card and active service pack or balance, connects the call, and records usage for institutions and support teams.

How it works

From Smart Card to a connected call

A clear flow for institutions that need structured, auditable parent communication.

  1. Student receives a registered Smart Card

    The card is issued for an authorised student at a participating institution.

  2. Card is linked to authorised contacts

    Parents, guardians or other approved numbers are registered against the card.

  3. Student taps the card on a Smart Payphone

    The device reads the card and starts a controlled calling session.

  4. System validates card and service pack or balance

    Calls proceed only when the account is valid and pack or balance allows usage.

  5. Student calls a registered contact

    Dialling is limited to authorised numbers — not an open phone book.

  6. Transaction and usage details are recorded

    Institutions can review call and device activity through the ParentReach dashboard.

Recharge and payments

Online recharge for ParentReach service packs

Parents and authorised users can purchase a recharge or service pack online. Payments are processed through Razorpay. ParentReach does not store complete card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN or internet banking passwords. After successful payment verification, the pack or balance is credited to the relevant ParentReach account.

Packs are specific to your school or institution

Service pack price, validity and benefits depend on the participating school or institution and the pack configured for that campus. We do not publish generic or placeholder prices on this site.

To recharge, use the Pay portal and enter the student’s card details, or contact support for pack information for your institution.
